About The Role

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a driven and hands-on PVCO Maintenance Superintendent to support our Wichita Falls, TX operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, leading maintenance teams, driving continuous improvement, and supporting safe, efficient plant performance. Occasional travel to Canada may be required for training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize all plant maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
  • Supervise and develop maintenance personnel to drive safety, reliability, and performance
  • Maintain and protect manufacturing assets through strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive root cause problem solving
  • Coordinate equipment repairs, upgrades, and modifications
  • Manage maintenance budgets, purchase orders, inventory, and cost controls
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve uptime, efficiency, and equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Oversee contractors, inspections, and plant projects
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reporting

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree in a technical or management field preferred
  • Extrusion manufacturing experience required (PVC / plastics preferred)
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
  • SAP experience a plus
  • OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills

Work Environment

This is a working leadership role operating across office and manufacturing plant environments. Plant areas may involve elevated noise levels and require appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear. Occasional travel may be required.

Physical Demands

This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and communication. Occasional bending, climbing, and lifting consistent with a manufacturing environment may be required.
