About The Role
Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a driven and hands-on PVCO Maintenance Superintendent to support our Wichita Falls, TX operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, leading maintenance teams, driving continuous improvement, and supporting safe, efficient plant performance. Occasional travel to Canada may be required for training.
Responsibilities
- Lead and prioritize all plant maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
- Supervise and develop maintenance personnel to drive safety, reliability, and performance
- Maintain and protect manufacturing assets through strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive root cause problem solving
- Coordinate equipment repairs, upgrades, and modifications
- Manage maintenance budgets, purchase orders, inventory, and cost controls
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve uptime, efficiency, and equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Oversee contractors, inspections, and plant projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reporting
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in a technical or management field preferred
- Extrusion manufacturing experience required (PVC / plastics preferred)
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong technical and troubleshooting mindset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- SAP experience a plus
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills

Work Environment
This is a working leadership role operating across office and manufacturing plant environments. Plant areas may involve elevated noise levels and require appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear. Occasional travel may be required.
