Maintenance Stores/Warehouse Clerk

About the role

The Maintenance Stores Clerk processes orders, maintains the stockroom, and provides care and storage of aircraft parts and tooling. They drive various vehicles, transport materials, and ensure all operations adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and manage stockroom inventory
• Prepare shipments for flights and ground transportation
• Ensure proper documentation and handling of dangerous goods
• Provide service to internal customers for parts, equipment, tools, and supplies
• Drive a variety of vehicles including pick-up trucks, vans, box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks
• Pick up or deliver materials between maintenance stations
• Maintain warehouse and assigned locations in a safe, clean, and organized manner
• Manage tool catalog for all company-owned tools

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in warehouse, parts, or materials management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized inventory system
• Valid driver's license with ability to operate various vehicles
• Ability to safely and compliantly operate company equipment and vehicles
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, grasp, climb stairs/ladders, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance
• Ability to communicate in English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
