Maintenance Storeroom Clerk

As a Maintenance Storeroom Clerk, you will support the product supply chain by collaborating across various teams to ensure maintenance support is safe, environmentally responsible, and of high quality.

Key Outcomes/Responsibilities

• Works within and improves the current excel tracking system of all incoming and outgoing parts from parts inventory cage.
• Constantly reviews current equipment and inventory to determine if current parts are critical and if the list needs to be revised.
• Works with contractors and vendors to find the best pricing and lead times to meet plant goals and timelines.
• Makes sure parts are ordered and scheduled to minimize plant downtime and reliability issues.
• Reviews PSM compliance documents and confirms material of construction conflicts for highly reactive systems.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 - 6 years of mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills applied to equipment and interconnected processes
• Leverage lean production fundamentals (5S, Continuous Improvement, Safety First mindset, waste elimination, etc.)
• Strong communicator, able to work with contractors, team members, and leadership
• Time management, able to switch tasks quickly to meet plant needs
• Working knowledge of SAP/Concur and basic spreadsheet techniques for data analysis
• DOT/IMDG regulations / implementation
