Maintenance Specialist (Utilities & Facilities)
Job Description
The Electro-Mechanic is the front-line “reactive” individual trouble-shooter and systems analyzer. Candidate must have electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical knowledge that allows a comprehensive and thorough understanding of process and electrical controls. Strong manufacturing background with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and process troubleshooting skills required. Ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years boiler experience preferred with a current Boiler Operator Certification.
- Requires two years as a Plant Shift Maintenance Technician or four years’ Industrial maintenance experience, responsible for electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Must be knowledgeable in pneumatics, blue/schematic print reading (mechanical/electrical), welding, using shop equipment, and fabrication.
- An electrical background with experience in troubleshooting is highly preferred.
- Be familiar with AC and DC drives and PLCs.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and electrical and mechanical skills are also required.
