Maintenance Specialist - MPLS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain clean and well-kept outdoor spaces, ensuring the property always looks its best.
- Care for landscaping, including watering, weeding, and seasonal upkeep.
- Manage waste disposal areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper sorting.
- Keep parking areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and repair in-unit and common area appliances.
- Perform touch-ups and full-unit painting as needed.
- Prepare apartments for new residents, including repairs, cleaning, and inspections.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical areas.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
- Perform snow and ice removal, including snow blowing, shoveling, salting, and chipping ice build-up on sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, roofs, and common spaces.
- Purchase and pick up approved parts and materials needed to perform maintenance duties.
- Cook up with the schedules of painters, carpet installers, and other contractors as necessary.
Minimum And/or Preferred Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Organized self-starter and motivated, with strong work ethic, excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Regular attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential to effectively serve residents, vendors, and team members during scheduled work hours.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
- Extended hours for turnover work may be necessary.

- Salary: $30 - $31/hour with bonus potential.
