Maintenance Specialist (Austin)

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex (senior‑level) building maintenance and construction work.
• Maintain and repair buildings, utility systems and stationary equipment.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Requisition material and supplies and maintain records.
• May serve as a lead worker, providing directions to others.
• Perform maintenance, construction, and repair work such as painting or mechanical work.
• Perform carpentry work: installation, alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings, doors, windows, wood fixtures and furniture.
• Inspect operating machinery, equipment, utility systems and building accessories/appliances to ensure proper maintenance and repair.
• Calculate material and labor costs and order parts and supplies.
• Maintain records on work orders or projects.
• Assist licensed electricians in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and circuits.
• Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems and components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
