About the role
This position is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, corrective, and capital maintenance activities. The role also involves reviewing, prioritizing, and coordinating work orders within the CMMS, analyzing maintenance data, and assisting with inventory planning.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, corrective, and capital maintenance activities.
- Review, prioritize, and coordinate work orders within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
- Clock in with maintenance supervisors, technicians, contractors, and stakeholders to schedule work, outages, shutdowns, and special projects while minimizing operational disruptions.
- Monitor work order progress, track completion status, update schedules, and communicate changes to affected personnel.
- Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics, identify scheduling conflicts or inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, labor utilization reports, and scheduling documentation.
- Aid in inventory planning and coordination of materials, tools, equipment, and contractor services required for scheduled work.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved apprenticeship program for multiple trades and one year of appropriate experience; or a high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience.
- Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- State of Florida Class E vehicle operator (driver) license required.
- Criminal background check and post-offer health assessment required.
- Normal Work Schedule: Schedule may vary depending on location; typically, 0600-1430. Total hours per week 40. Works emergencies/evenings/weekends/holidays as needed; on-call required.
- Position considered as Essential Personnel as defined.
Qualifications
