Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

The Maintenance Specialist at Diversified Maintenance is responsible for performing maintenance duties around the facility in an industrial setting. This includes inspecting spaces daily to identify problems, responding to maintenance requests, changing lights, performing small electrical and plumbing tasks, and performing other cleaning duties as assigned.

• Inspect spaces daily to identify problems with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns
• Respond to requests for maintenance services
• Change lights
• Perform small electrical and plumbing tasks
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned
• Perform painting, including drywall, doors, and office furniture
• Perform industrial building maintenance and repairs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education/technical certification
• Must possess professional experience and/or education in one or more of the following: Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
• Attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work
• Basic skills in mechanical repair and routine facility maintenance
• Able to use common tools such as hammers, screwdrivers/drills, and wrenches
• Time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
• Degree from a technical college
