About the Role
Maintains all ROHO equipment by performing preventative maintenance on equipment, inspecting and repairing all equipment, and assisting with any other special projects. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by:
- Observing all equipment to assure proper operation of all systems and find possible failures.
- Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines, and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools, and precision-measuring instruments.
- Performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Repairing electrical equipment.
Manages equipment database by:
- Maintaining written records for every piece of equipment.
- Logging work done and failures in order to establish a predictive maintenance program.
Adjusts parts of devices and control instruments by installing functional and structural parts on devices or equipment.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by:
- Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager.
- Complying with all safety and quality policies, practices, and procedures.
Maintains quality service by:
- Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges.
- Maintaining an efficient work pace.
- Meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.
Contributes to team effort by:
- Maintaining a good attendance record.
- Accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, ownership, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Associates Degree from college or technical school or 3 to 5 years of direct related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Forklift and man lift experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude; fabrication skills helpful.
- PLC and HMI skills helpful.
- Good reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
Pay
The expected pay range for this role is $28.00 – $32.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
Schedule
Evening Shift: 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday (ending Friday morning). Full-time.
