Maintenance Service Worker 3rd Shift

About the role

Perform preventative maintenance checks and routine service on all equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.
• Obtain preventative maintenance on equipment as required by preventative maintenance program, including:
  • Change oil and filters
  • Grease rolling stock, production equipment and electrical motor bearings
  • Change fuel and air filters
  • Inspect antifreeze base in coolant system and power steering fluid levels
  • Inspect oil level for transmission, rear end and gear cases
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment as it becomes available each workday, including:
  • Inspect oil and coolant levels
  • Inspect air filters
  • Grease rollers, drive chains and feed screws
  • Inspect batteries and tire pressures
  • Check power steering and hydraulic fluid levels
  • Drain and clean air tanks and inspect air lines
  • Document readings from metered equipment on daily checklist(s)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
