Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
- Execute work orders including inspections, lubrication, cleaning, calibration, filter changes, and repairs.
- Partner with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Safely perform all duties by following PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and other safety protocols.
- Support new line setups, equipment installations, and capital projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic machinery, motors, pumps, blowers, mills, and other rotating equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, gauges, calipers, and dial indicators to assess equipment performance.
- Operate basic metal fabrication tools (welders, grinders, saws, etc.) when needed.
- Complete daily inspections of utilities including chillers, boilers, air compressors, pumps, and RO units.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance shop.
Tools & Equipment Used
- Standard shop and hand tools (drill press, saws, welders, etc.)
- Diagnostics and testing equipment (computers, vibration analyzers, multimeters, etc.)
- Forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
- PPE in compliance with company safety practices
Skills & Abilities
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Dependable, reliable, and committed to excellent attendance
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work in varied conditions, including heat and heights (ladder work)
- Able to wear a respirator for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
