About the role

Part‑time night‑shift position at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, NY, working weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays).

Responsibilities

• Patrol the building for resident safety and perform equipment checks.
• Take out trash from garbage cans.
• Act as first responder to, and investigate, complaints, thefts, vandalism, accidents, or incidents; promptly report to management, law enforcement, or emergency/rescue personnel as appropriate.
• Perform light maintenance as needed – salt and shovel walkways for safety during ice and snow, respond to plumbing issues during maintenance off‑hours, replace light bulbs, etc.
• Provide resident services as needed, such as package delivery and valet vehicle assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years’ experience preferred.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License required.

Pay

The pay range is $18.50 – $24.66 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates, and the pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.

Schedule

Part‑time, night shift, weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays).
