MAINTENANCE & SAFETY TECH

Responsibilities

• Maintain a peaceful and secure community environment for residents and staff.
• Patrol building for resident safety and equipment checks.
• Take out trash from garbage cans.
• Act as first responder to, and investigate complaints, thefts, vandalism, accidents, or incidents; promptly report to management, law enforcement, or emergency/rescue personnel as appropriate.
• Perform light maintenance as needed – salt and shovel walkways for safety during ice & snow, respond to plumbing issues during maintenance off‑hours, replace light bulbs, etc.
• Provide resident services as needed such as package delivery, valet vehicles, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License required.

Pay

Pay range: $18.50 – $24.66 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Schedule

Part‑time, night shift. Work schedule: weekends only – Saturdays and Sundays.
