Maintenance Ride Technician

What You Get to Do

• Conduct daily ride inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
• Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members
• Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations

What It Takes to Succeed

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a park driver’s license
• Able to provide and use basic hand tools
• Able to pass all ride competency tests and obtain certification
• Able to communicate effectively and perform basic math calculations
• Able to work in tight/confined spaces and ride roller coasters as part of routine inspections
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather
• Flexible in working varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
