Maintenance Ride Technician

What You Get to Do
- Conduct daily ride inspections
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
- Provide excellent service to guests and team members
- Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
What It Takes to Succeed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a park driver’s license
- Able to provide and use basic hand tools
- Able to pass all ride competency tests and obtain certification
- Able to communicate effectively and perform basic math calculations
- Able to work in tight/confined spaces and ride roller coasters as part of routine inspections
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather
- Flexible in working varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
