About the Role

Under the general supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, this position is primarily responsible for managing and tracking assets, keys and building access cards, alarms devices, vehicle fleet, warranties, renewals, installations and inspections of facilities and equipment. This incumbent will perform light maintenance tasks as assigned and coordinate work with landlord maintenance teams. This position will provide 24/7 facilities support to a flexible portfolio of 16 owned and leased UNLV School of Medicine, Research and Clinical (Faculty Practice Plan) facilities and over 1,200 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track assets, keys, building access cards, alarm devices, vehicle fleet, warranties, renewals, installations, and inspections of facilities and equipment.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinate work with landlord maintenance teams.
  • Provide 24/7 facilities support to a flexible portfolio of facilities.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience performing semi-skilled work in a relevant building and/or mechanical trade; or one year of experience as a Maintenance Repair Worker II in Nevada State service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid class C driver’s license is required at the time of appointment, and all certifications and licenses must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

Pay

Grade 27 Step 1, Salary $48,504.24 (CBA - A, E, F). "Step" means the number assigned by the Division of Human Resource Management to identify a specific rate of pay within a grade. Per Nevada Administrative Code (NAC 284.170), salaries for initial appointments for classified positions typically begin at Step 1.
