This is the ultimate "MacGyver" job for the Maintenance & Repair Tech at the Barnstable County Dredge Department.

Responsibilities

• Changing oil
• Replacing fittings
• Managing spare parts
• And much more...

Requirements

• A valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation to & from the job site
• The ability to acquire a hydraulic license (Class 2A) within the first year of employment
• Ability to travel to each project site using department vehicles on Cape Cod
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed (with overtime during the dredge season - September through May)
• Tolerance for conditions on the water, vibrations, heat, confined spaces, & high noise levels
