Summary

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities for Group 2 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), payloads, and associated Ground Support Equipment (GSE). This role directly supports the MRO RMA Manager by assisting in repairs and customer relationships (as needed) to ensure on-time delivery of products and meet profitability expectations of Redwire.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up and document all customer returned aircraft, systems, and support equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal departments like Engineering, Quality, Inventory, Production, System Check Out, Flight Operations, and others.
  • Support the Global support team, attend internal and external meetings, and handle routine inquiries.
  • Prepare Internal Request for Quotes (RFQs) to get current pricing, lead times, and materials needed.
  • Maintain digital record keeping systems and ensure accuracy across all platforms.
  • Aid in developing and maintaining reports, presentation slides, and performance metrics for status updates.

Required Qualifications

  • A self-starter capable of working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (QMS) and ability to follow documented procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, and daily tasks.
  • Familiarity with following approved workflows and documentation practices.
  • Read, review, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Database (SharePoint, Jira) management skills.
  • Experience in UAS manufacturing practices, including production and assembly processes.

Clearance Requirements

This position may require access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). Work Environment And Physical Requirements

  • Standard office setting with production area elements.
  • Use of standard office equipment, including computers.
  • Demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions.
  • Occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending.
  • Vision necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen.
  • Hearing and speech essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone.
  • May require occasional travel by air or automobile.
  • Use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
