Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) Coordinator
Summary
The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities for Group 2 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), payloads, and associated Ground Support Equipment (GSE). This role directly supports the MRO RMA Manager by assisting in repairs and customer relationships (as needed) to ensure on-time delivery of products and meet profitability expectations of Redwire.
Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Coordination with internal departments.
- Support the Global support team, as needed, including attending internal and external meetings, as appropriate.
- Maintain digital record keeping systems while ensuring accuracy across all platforms.
- Prepare Internal Request for Quotes (RFQs), as needed, to obtain current pricing, lead times and materials needed.
- Aid in developing and maintaining reports, presentation slides, and performance metrics to support status updates for internal and external meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (QMS) and the ability to follow documented procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, and daily tasks.
- Familiarity with following approved workflows and documentation practices.
- Ability to read, review, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Database (SharePoint, Jira) management skills.
- Experience in UAS manufacturing practices, to include production and assembly processes.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements
- The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area.
- Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions.
- The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending.
- Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone.
- Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile.
- Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment.
- Employees may be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
