Overview
The Maintenance Renewal Specialist will have the responsibility for strengthening relationships and increasing revenue within ConvergeOne's existing customer base.
Responsibilities
- Quotes renewals 60-90 days in advance of support expiration
- Communicates effectively a clear, concise, and professional manner with necessary parties in order to secure the information needed to create the renewal quotes
- Facilitates cross department collaboration to ensure incoming renewals are evaluated for completeness prior to quote completion
- Manages end-to-end responsibility for the maintenance quote from request to quote completion
- Maintains critical knowledge of maintenance offers as well as the computer systems we use to provide quotes that result in profitable sales for the company
- Understands extensively the tools and processes for quoting renewal maintenance
- Manages and coordinates maintenance renewals with applicable vendors
- Works as liaison between maintenance provider on records reconciliation issues:
- Duplicate or inaccurate Material Codes
- Contract Coverage discrepancies
- And others as found
- Works independently and prioritizes tasks to meet expectations
- Ensures sales teams are aware of any manufacturer Services promotions and/or changes in coverage pricing
- Attends vendor/distributor calls as needed to discuss renewal quote
- Builds and maintains working relationships with customers, team members, vendors, and other departments involved in maintenance
- Works with manufactures to present business case for reinstatement fee removal
Additional Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Works with NAMs and customers to ensure that renewal quotes are accurate and that contracts are consolidated and co-termed where appropriate
- Attaches required quoting documents in CRM to insure one central place for document storage and compliance
- Manages various quote types
- Updates quoting status within CRM to provide visibility to the status of all quote requests
- Updates data tools and pull reports using the manufacture/distributor systems as required
Qualifications
- 4-year college degree in Business or equivalent in experience
- One year sales/business experience required
- Knowledge of Key, PBX, IP Telephony, messaging and products are helpful
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
