Maintenance/Reh Technician

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our communities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-family setting, possess excellent technical skills, and be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance repairs and ensure the functionality of various systems within the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring they meet the standards for move-in.
• Utilize HVAC 608 Certification and demonstrate proficiency in electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring the community operates according to safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the service team to enhance curb appeal and uphold high standards for the property.
• Knowledge of preventive and general maintenance.

Requirements

• HVAC 608 Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance and team supervision.
• Electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills with residents, associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• College degree helpful.
• Bilingual is a plus.
