Maintenance Project Electrician

Basic Job Functions

• Completing new construction projects
• Supporting projects mill wide
• Specifying & implementing electrical solutions in non-production areas
• Using sound electrical principles & practices
• Project leadership
• Utilizing design software to interpret schematics safely & accurately
• Specifying, estimating, quoting & implementing new projects
• Obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications as a part of this role
• Working nights and weekends depending on projects and the needs of the mill

Minimum Qualifications

• 2- years industrial electrical experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding and applying the National Electrical Code
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Legally authorized to work in the Unites States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 or more years of industrial electrical experience
• 2- or 4-year engineering or technical degree
• Experience with leading a team
• Prior experience in the steel industry
• Prior experience in the electrical construction industry
• Understanding of copper & fiber optic network requirements
• Understanding of building codes
