About the Role

The primary responsibilities of this position include covering for the Maintenance Scheduler during absences, vacations, and illness, as well as supporting increased scheduling demands for plant and fleet maintenance. You will develop maintenance plans, task lists, parts and equipment requirements, and provide administrative support for the Maintenance Operations department, including planning initiatives, assignments, and reporting for the NARM Maintenance Operations group. These duties ensure a safe and productive plant equipment and mobile fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains work orders and work requisitions (materials and services) in SAP.
  • Confirms that parts and external labor are available prior to releasing work orders.
  • Coordinates with Supervisors and Field Maintenance to evaluate work capacity, resources, and necessity of subcontracting to maintain schedule.
  • Properly sequences all work order activities, assets, and resource requirements into a daily schedule using SAP, utilized by Supervisors and Field Maintenance to facilitate orderly execution of repair activities.
  • Liaises with the Procurement Department to expedite external parts and contractor labor suppliers, where necessary.
  • Utilizes job plans to determine parts, tools, skills, and technical documents are readily available to perform required work.
  • Distributes weekly and bi-weekly scheduled work to operations and maintenance supervisors.
  • Supports the Maintenance Planning Manager to ensure routine maintenance activities for the mobile fleet are appropriately planned (resources, parts, tooling) and scheduled for safe, efficient, and repeatable progress.
  • Assists the Maintenance Planning Manager with bills of material (BoM), job plans, and task list development from historical information, Supervisor input, and mechanic representative feedback.
  • Monitors KPIs and prepares detailed reports on backlog, schedule compliance, productivity, and historical trends.
  • Performs administrative duties related to fleet licensing, tolls, fuel rebates, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum); Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) Certification desired.
  • Five to ten years of practical experience in the maintenance industry, preferably in ready mix.
  • Two years of experience with computer-based maintenance planning/scheduling programs highly desired.
  • Proficiency in SAP, budgeting tools, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Pay

Salary Range: $26.68/hr to $33.35/hr
