Maintenance Planner

Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for effective use of labor, materials, and equipment through the planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting of work for the assigned department.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technology related field, or five plus years of related professional experience in a heavy industrial environment working with mechanical maintenance or engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in MS Office line of software is required.
• Experience with project management software, such as MS Project 2007 or later, is preferred.
• Experience with work management systems like JD Edwards software programs is a plus.

Qualifications

This position requires general knowledge of mechanical maintenance and engineering principles, as well as the ability to manage and coordinate maintenance tasks effectively.
