Maintenance Person Jr (3rd shift) $32.20 + $1.25 shift differential

BAE Systems is seeking a full-time, 3rd shift skilled trade assistant to perform minor repairs across a heavy industry site and assist skilled trades including Carpenters, Electricians, Mechanics, Plumbers, and others.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions and work orders from Process Supervisor, Assistant Process Supervisor, Lead Person, or Self-Directed Work Team.
• Procure necessary tools, materials, and equipment from within or outside the plant area using mobile tractors, trucks, or vans.
• Perform maintenance tasks on plant and office facilities, electrical systems, vehicles, production machinery, and sanitary facilities that do not require full-scope maintenance personnel skills.
• Assist journey-persons in assigned maintenance tasks when required.
• Complete daily work reports and return all unused materials and tools.
• Use personal computers or other data acquisition devices (e.g., bar-code scanners) as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous maintenance experience.
