Maintenance O/N Position

1st shift Monday through Friday and some weekends may be required Responsibilities Direct preventive maintenance and daily repair of injection molding presses, molds, and auxiliary equipment.Diagnose trouble, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test and make adjustments using problem solving standards.Participate with set-up reduction improvements of specific injection molding presses, molds and auxiliary equipment (conveyors, dryers, thermolators, etc.) through Kaizen improvement activitiesWorking knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot PLCs - Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.Troubleshoot basic pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systemsMaintain water system throughout manufacturing facility to support injection molding equipmentMaintain spare parts inventory for injection molding equipment, molds, and auxiliary equipmentMaintain proper records regarding machine maintenance (process history, etc.)Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in molding Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent10+ years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environmentProven capability of troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systemsProven competence with performing basic machine shop operations holding standard tolerances through operation of milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, etc.Basic understanding of electrical circuitsAbility to read and comprehend basic pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic schematics.Develop kaizen understandingPersonal computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and must be able to interact with customers and employees. Strong attention to details, highly organized, able to multi-task. Must be punctual and dependable, able to work with little supervision. Must be able to maintain files in a neat and orderly manner.
