Our Team Our Georgia-Pacific Green Bay Broadway facility is searching for Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to work in our Maintenance department on Day Shift (8-hour schedule, Monday - Friday with some nights/weekends when necessary). These are highly skilled, hourly positions requiring a thorough understanding of safe work practices, troubleshooting, and precision maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision maintenance tasks on various industrial manufacturing processes, including Paper Machines, Pulp Systems, Converting Assets, and more.
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in the safety program to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Support the maintenance efforts at the Green Bay Broadway facility.
  • Contribute to the reliability vision by striving to create an environment where equipment consistently operates as designed, runs predictably, and avoids unexpected failures.
  • Engage with colleagues at all levels of the organization, using various channels such as reports, emails, verbal discussions, and participating in small and large group meetings, all within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic, millwright, or maintenance mechanic in an industrial, agricultural, manufacturing or military environment.
  • ORTwo (2) years completed technical degree in mechanical, electromechanical or industrial maintenance.
  • ORValid Mechanical Journeyman License
  • ORFull completion of a mechanical apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing various types of industrial equipment or machining equipment.
  • Experience and understanding of precision maintenance practices.
  • Experience with laser alignment equipment.
  • Mechanical maintenance experience in the paper industry.
  • Rigging certification or experience.

Skills

  • Effective communication skills.

Pay

Based on experience, the starting salary is commensurate with your qualifications.
