Maintenance | Mid-Level Engineer 3 ($32.95/hour)

About the role

The Mid-Level Engineer (Engineer 3) will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front/back of house areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform routine maintenance tasks in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front/back of house areas.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance issues.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' needs promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• (3) years of maintenance experience or more, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• A positive attitude and strong trouble-shooting skills related to electricity, plumbing, and other areas of general maintenance.
• Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, overnight, and holidays.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Able to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds).

Pay

The hourly rate range for this position is $32.95/hour to $33.61/hour. The starting rate for this position is $32.95/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in this position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is currently offered at $33.61/hour.
