Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend Nights

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on heat treat equipment.
• Provide emergency and/or unscheduled maintenance as required.
• Aid in setting up equipment for scheduled production runs.
• Aid in machine rebuilds, installations, and moves.
• Construct machine repair, tooling parts, safety guards, and other parts as needed.
• Perform additional mechanical services such as troubleshooting and repairing packing and other production equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health standards and requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of heat treat processes.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

• $25-$30/hour based on experience.

Schedule

• 11:00pm - 11:00am Fridays
• 11:00am - 11:00pm Saturdays
• Option to work an extra shift to a 30-hour, 3-day working schedule.
