Maintenance Mechanic Tier III

Hiring Immediately! The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across all departments.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and seals
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to resolve and prevent issues
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipment
• Install and service control devices, sensors, and motor control systems
• Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and 480V 3-phase electrical systems
• Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or skilled trades experience
• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong mechanical and electrical background
• PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
• Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Full-Time Benefits

• Starting Pay: $29-34 hourly
• Shift: 2nd shift, 10 AM-8:45 PM. Monday - Thursday. Some overtime required
• SIGN ON BONUS OF $1,000
