Essential Functions/Duties
- Works with Facilities Manager on a day-to-day work request.
- Perform mechanical tasks, such as lubrication, filter replacing, and mechanical repairs to pumps, compressors, and filters.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair winery equipment, which may include welding, PLCs, electrical, plumbing and machining.
- Use CMMS software to enter, update, and complete work orders, ensuring accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance.
- Use technical publications to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Perform corrective maintenance on winery equipment.
- Assist in the movement of materials and equipment as required.
- Able to operate a forklift and work at heights on a scissor/boom lift.
- Assure safety standards used to comply with all company, city, state, and federal guidelines.
- Maintain a safe, professional, orderly, and clean working environment; tidy up work areas throughout shift/workday.
Job Requirements
- Essential Skills, Experience, And Education:
- Be a self-starter and work with limited supervision.
- Have fabricating skills, welding, cutting, drilling, carpentry, etc.
- Preferred welding Stainless Steel and Aluminum (mig, tig).
- Have electrical knowledge.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot with or without schematics.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read and write English and perform mathematical calculations.
- Be able to read and understand technical manuals and publications.
- Be able to read and understand various types of gauges, meters and operate test equipment.
- Be able to consistently prioritize safety in the workplace.
- Background:
- 2 – 3 years winery or manufacturing maintenance experience as a Maintenance Mechanic preferred, or equivalent technical training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and all levels of management in English, both written and verbal.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of mechanical systems as they relate to winery equipment including pumps, conveying systems, hydraulics, air systems, vacuum systems, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
- Must be organized with good follow-through and time management skills.
- Must be able to work overhead and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid California driver’s license.
- Experience with CMMS for logging maintenance activities.

Pay Transparency
The base pay for this role ranges from $26.87 - $31.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
