Maintenance Mechanic, Plant Operations & Maintenance, 7a-3:30p

Responsibilities

• Works throughout hospital, medical office buildings, and off-site locations, which may include limited access areas including medication rooms.
• Must be able to perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Responds to routine and emergency work orders in allotted time frame.
• Tasks also relate to emergency systems such as emergency generator, fire alarm systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, electrical distribution and electrical distribution circuits.
• Performs ongoing preventive maintenance programs for assigned equipment.
• Must have some problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must follow through with little supervisory guidance.
• Must demonstrate good time management skills and work well within a team environment.
• Must have good communication and interaction skills with staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Required: One year service and maintenance of facility equipment
• Desired: Associate Degree
