HVAC/Refrigeration, Plant Operations & Maintenance, 7a-3:30p

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of major Hospital and Medical Campus HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Respond to routine and emergency work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Participate in new project installations.
• Complete all required documentation according to department procedures.
• Meet established response times for work orders and stat calls.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Program within scheduled timeframe.
• Light duty maintenance, light moving, and new product installation as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with high initiative and minimal supervisory guidance.
• Exhibit good time management skills and work well within a team environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Act independently and make judgments regarding service and repair of equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Primarily a standard work week position with holiday and occasional night/weekend rotation.
• Respond to emergency call-ins (e.g., equipment failure, floods, snow removal).
• Participate in on-call rotation when required.

Requirements

• Three years of installation and maintenance experience with industrial electrical equipment.
• Environmental Protection Agency Section 608 Type I certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (desired).
• Associate Degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (desired).
