Maintenance Mechanic (Overnights)

The OpportunityPrecious Plate is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain equipment to support manufacturing. This is a full-time position, working from 7pm 7am (Nights)on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Our starting rate of pay is $30.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain equipment to support manufacturingPerform repairs for carpentry, plumbing, electric, welding, pneumatics, and HVACRecommend annual work projectsEnsure all calibration and preventative maintenance tasks are performedIdentify emergency situations and take corrective actionOther duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High school diploma or equivalentTwo years of technical experience and mechanical troubleshootingAbility to read, write, and comprehend verbal/written instructionsAbility to work independently and cooperatively with othersBasic math skillsManual dexterity is needed to perform some job functionsAbility to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand up to 12 hours per day, and push, pull or lift up to 50lbs as needed.
