Maintenance Mechanic (Overnights)

About the Role

Precious Plate is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain equipment and support manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to support manufacturing
• Perform repairs for carpentry, plumbing, electric, welding, pneumatics, and HVAC
• Recommend annual work projects
• Ensure all calibration and preventative maintenance tasks are performed
• Identify emergency situations and take corrective action
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of technical experience and mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal/written instructions
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
• Basic math skills
• Manual dexterity to perform job functions
• Ability to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop, and kneel
• Ability to stand up to 12 hours per day and push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Working Conditions

• Occasionally works around chemical solutions
• Environment may experience high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature
• Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required
• Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities
• Exposure to background noise, odors, or dust

Schedule

Full-time position working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Nights) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
