Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary

We are seeking a maintenance mechanic/technician responsible for ensuring the safe execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing and/or food processing plant. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of previous maintenance experience, basic math knowledge, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Position Responsibilities

• Lay out equipment and build to specifications
• Perform standard mechanical functions, including changing oil, bearings, etc. on all types of equipment
• Perform department sanitation duties
• Handle paperwork necessary for department

Position Requirements

• Flexible for all shifts; understand and follow instructions
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical and electrical experience (AC/DC; 480v; 240V; 120V)
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
• Welding and torch cutting experience
• Experience with a plasma cutter
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day
• General electrical, gas control, and basic mechanical experience
• Ability to pass the standard Forklift Driver written & driving exams
