About The Role
The Maintenance Mechanic will coordinate maintenance projects, perform facility and production equipment maintenance, and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform general office and manufacturing maintenance
- Lubricate and service heavy production machinery
- Repair and replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, and other components
- Modify structural components to improve safety, efficiency, and cost savings
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs
- Maintain a strong focus on Environment, Health & Safety standards
- Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls
- Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Extrusion and sheet line experience is a plus
Pay
$35 – $42/hour + 20% shift differential (based on experience, education, and qualifications)
Schedule
Monday – Thursday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
