Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift 11p-7a

About the role

In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production and mobile equipment, using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to keep operations running safely and efficiently. You will perform both preventive and emergency maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and work with modern maintenance management systems to support reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and overhaul production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, mobile equipment, and vehicles; perform scheduled maintenance repairs during service.
• Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities; maintain computerized preventative maintenance system.
• Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards; work safely and recognize unsafe situations, taking appropriate action to ensure safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years’ relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet.
• Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Working conditions may include dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.
