What you will be doing:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and dock equipment (levelers, doors, etc.)
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot and repair screen printing and embroidery machinery
- Conduct general building maintenance such as HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, doors, and office fixtures
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize disruption and support smooth operations
- Cook up with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and service calls as needed
- Aid in installation and setup of new equipment and office fixtures
- Maintain organized tools, parts inventory, and a clean maintenance workspace
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot equipment issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for maintenance logs and reporting
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, warehouse, or industrial environment
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and effectively troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
