Maintenance Mechanic IV

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic IV will perform repair and preventive maintenance duties on building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems. They will also install new equipment in all areas of facilities used and owned by Baptist Health.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and preventive maintenance duties on building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Install new equipment in all areas of facilities used and owned by Baptist Health.
• Additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Maintenance or Engineering.
• Certification or license in a field related to engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
• Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to remain calm in difficult situations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.

• Basic interpreting of blueprints on buildings and schematics on equipment.
