Maintenance Mechanic – Industrial Manufacturing (2nd Shift)

Core Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, sensors, relays, and AC/DC drives
- Diagnose mechanical failures involving hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and drive systems
- Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment (basic fault tracing and component replacement)
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals
- Maintain and repair HVAC and facility support systems as needed
- Document maintenance activities and work orders in SAP
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve equipment uptime and reliability
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, reliability, and process stability
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience working as a mechanic or Technician
Qualifications
- Required Technical Skills & Experience:
- Electrical diagnostics (120V–480V systems)
- Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting
- Mechanical systems repair (bearings, belts, couplings, alignment)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- 2+ years experience working on molding machines
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally assisted lifting above 50 lbs.
- Extended standing and walking
- Occasional kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to work safely around energized systems and moving machinery
Pay
- Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay Rate
- Shift Differential: +10% Pay Range: $25.58 – $38.37/hour
