About the role
The Maintenance Specialist will use their knowledge of plumbing, construction, and electrical work to maintain a functional building. The Specialist will also perform work maintaining, repairing, and operating HVAC equipment. This role will be responsible for making adjustments and monitoring control equipment via computer interfaces, placing requisitions, ordering job parts and supplies, inspecting and monitoring maintenance and repair functions, and system equipment operations. This employee will read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams and must have familiarity with building codes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, vocational, or trade school training preferred
- 3 years of prior experience in commercial/industrial maintenance in a specialized trade required
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, and line drawings
- Valid PA driver’s license
- Completion of comprehensive Crisis Management training or obtain within 6 months of hire
- Experience in HVAC systems and DDC/BAS preferred
