Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd Shift

Location: Plymouth, MN • 6-month contract • 2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 1:45 AM

About the role

This position supports our Electrophysiology medical-device business in Plymouth, MN. We advance the treatment of heart disease—especially atrial fibrillation—through breakthrough technologies that help patients restore their health.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance, including repairs, installations, modifications, and safety checks on production equipment.
• Document maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Troubleshoot and repair a broad range of industrial production equipment.
• Maintain, track, and support inventory for equipment and related components.
• Use tools such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters, gauge pins, and other precision instruments.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
• Utilize systems and software including Microsoft Office, SAP, Windchill, and Infor EAM (CMMS).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or automation environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance terminology, tools, and processes.
• Ability to follow verbal and written procedures with accuracy.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience working with maintenance software systems.
• No travel required.
