Maintenance Mechanic I

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic I inspects, maintains, repairs, replaces and adjusts systems and equipment in engineering responsibilities to include electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems and equipment. May be expected to drive CHLA vehicle during worked hours.

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday, Day Shift

Requirements

• 4+ years of on-the-job construction and/or maintenance experience
• Including 2+ years of specific trade experience, such as electrical, plumbing & welding
• Valid California Drivers License required
• Adherence to CHLA Operation of Vehicles for Business Purposes Policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of the construction trades including electro-mechanical systems and controls
• Welding Certificate preferred
