About the role
We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to perform light maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks in a senior care facility. This role involves snow removal, assisting with audits and regulatory compliance, overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations, and supporting safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot building and equipment issues
- Supervise maintenance staff and manage work orders
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations
- Support safety and quality standards within the facility
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- At least five years of experience in building systems
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety codes and building codes
- Valid driver’s license may be required
- Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call duties
