Maintenance Mechanic - Full Time Days

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to perform light maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks in a senior care facility. This role involves snow removal, assisting with audits and regulatory compliance, overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations, and supporting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot building and equipment issues
• Supervise maintenance staff and manage work orders
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations
• Support safety and quality standards within the facility

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• At least five years of experience in building systems
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools and blueprints
• Knowledge of safety codes and building codes
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call duties
