About the role
Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment for over 100 years. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for light repair, cleaning, and maintenance tasks performed safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct work quality inspections and ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with staff management, including hiring and performance evaluations
- Oversee work orders and maintain documentation and inventory
- Install and maintain mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and groundskeeping
- Perform outside maintenance
- Interpret blueprints and schematics
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools, meters, and gauges
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Five years of building systems experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license may be required
- Good communication skills and knowledge of codes and safety regulations
