Maintenance Mechanic B - Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain all manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems, including steam boilers, air compressors, HVAC, Water for Injection, physical plant, clean rooms, and building roofing.
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and prevent equipment obsolescence.
• Ensure the validated state of all equipment, systems, and facilities and maintain compliance with applicable cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA, and local government regulations.
• Undertake capital improvement projects such as installing HVAC systems, upgrading the Water For Injection system, and rebuilding/upgrading filling and packaging equipment.
• Develop relationships with key vendors for technical support and assistance with hardware applications.
• Ensure compliance with company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1‑2 years of related experience
• Working knowledge of power transfer technology (mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics)
• Familiarity with machine controls (PLCs, relay logic, operator interfaces)
• Familiarity with plant utility systems (high‑pressure steam, HVAC)
• Familiarity with metal working (machining and welding)
• Clear understanding of analytical troubleshooting
• Good written and verbal communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Pay

Hourly range: $26.84 – $28.84. Final pay determinations depend on experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Schedule

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
