Maintenance Mechanic - AVG

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and keep stock inventory to identify any issues.
• Repair buildings, equipment, and damaged structures.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
• Plan and schedule repairs.
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Perform maintenance tasks including but not limited to preventative maintenances needed, etc.
• Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Schedule work as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent;
• At least two (2) years of experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic machinery;
• Experience in a multiphase fast-paced production operation;
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints;
• Strong electrical background, specifically in 480 3-phase;
• Maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment;
• Maintenance of electrical industrial machinery;
• Maintenance of mechanical industrial machinery - Example: Arpac Wrappers, Diamac Packing Machine, Dorell Sealers, Langen Packaging machines, Conveyers, Pallet wrappers, Mettler Toledo High Speed weight machines, Domino Laser Printers, Markem Printers, Nordson Glue pots, Conveyers, Bailers, Compressors and various other equipment;
• Strong analytical skills -- troubleshooting skills;
• The ability to work with all levels of employees.
