Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Ultradent, the global name in oral health, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work the Grave Shift 5/8 Schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member in production by ensuring equipment maintains quality standards and expected throughput
• Work in cross-functional teams on assigned projects
• Perform established and required preventive maintenance on all equipment and keep necessary records
• Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment issues
• Observe flow of materials to ensure proper functioning of equipment and processes
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Complete and maintain proper equipment documentation and complete reports as required
• Properly document quality documentation as required by process
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, TOC, SMED, etc.) a plus
• Experience with manufacturing equipment preferred

Requirements

• Prior machine mechanic experience required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Any technical certifications are a plus
