Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment:
- Forklift equipment includes weekly preventive maintenance on the batteries; watering and cleanup;
- Forklifts, Order pickers, Walkie riders, Pack mules/EZ-go’s, Tennant Power Sweeper;
- Bindery equipment: Perfect Binder, Cutters, Punches, Wire-O, Booklet makers/Stitchers, Drills, Folders, UV Coaters/stacker/feeder, Crease master, Thermal tape binders, Shrink wrapper, Electric wire closer, Bander;
- Collation equipment: Pocket collators, Tower collators;
- Shipping equipment: Shipping lines, Strappers, Inserters, Ink jets, electronic stapling equipment;
- Repairs equipment:
- Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble;
- Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts;
- Orders replacement parts;
- Utilize Shop Tools:
- Drills, etc. - power drill press, electric hand drills, Hilti and cordless drills, sharpening bits;
- Grinders - 4 ½“ power hand grinder, bench and belt sanders;
- Saws - table, circular, Sawzall, and band saw;
- Welders - tig steel, aluminum spool shooter, gas torches;
- Electrical Wire Repair - solder guns, splices, crimpers, and heat gun;
- Machinist Skills - Lablond lathe, vertical milling machine;
- General Hydraulic and Air Knowledge - troubleshoot, repair air and hydraulic lines, fittings, etc.
- General knowledge of various hand tools
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years working as Maintenance Technician
- Able to work on multiple projects and prioritize work
