Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment within the facility
• Acquire skills and knowledge to complete training required to obtain licenses
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Maintain equipment to industry standards
• Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as required and/or assigned by supervisor
• Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware
• Interface with building manager and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction
• Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications
• Place or remove systems and equipment as directed
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be available to work all shifts
• Must be available to be on call 24/7
• Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems
• Universal CFC/R-410A certification
• Prior hotel experience a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift sixty (60) pounds
• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
• Possess excellent customer service skills

Pay

$23 - $26 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week. Must be able to work weekends.
