Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

The National, well-established printing paper distributor and convertor is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic for their 2nd shift position. The role is based in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Installations and overhauls to equipment, machinery and facilities, including rewinders, sheeters and trimmers.
• Hydraulic & pneumatic systems, basic electrical circuits, motors, gears, compressors, pumps, clutches and brakes.
• Perform other tasks such as light machining, preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubricating parts as well as welding and fabricating parts.
• Ability to follow written instructions from manuals, schematics, specifications and manufacturer’s directions required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge in a paper converting facility or similar industry setting preferred.

Pay

$32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule

The hours for 2nd shift are 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Midnight).
